Barbara Gunschel served in the US Navy WAVES (Women Accepted for Volunteer Emergency Service) from 1943 until 1944. During this time she was stationed in Washington DC.

The collection includes an oral history transcript, 4 February 1999; a photograph of Gwyn in WAVES uniform, 1943; blue cord uniform jacket and matching skirt, circa 1950s; Navy uniform jacket and skirt, circa 1950s; black tie; a hat.

The collection includes an oral history transcript, 22 April 2016; a Retirement Ceremony program, 9 April 2022.

The Laura Henry Scrapbook has one scrapbook and three separate pages of Mount Holyoke Songs. The scrapbook has a wooden cover with images of a United States navy ship on it. It has approximately 58 pages and contains newspaper clippings, cards, menus from military base holiday lunches, and Laura Henry's official military identification cards.

The collection includes Naval Discharge and Enrollment papers, 24 September 1918-31 December 1920; 2 photographs of Rodger's United States Naval Reserve Yeomanette, 1918-1919.
